Hello Kevin,

If you are playing and charging at the same time, you may need to turn off the GB, otherwise the charging IC cannot detect there is not more consumption.
If that doesn’t help, you can try with another battery. Or use a multimeter and check if the green light is not damaged.

No, you don’t need a extra resistor, the light board include one so it0s safe to connect directly.

Hello Hob,
The information in this page is a bit outdated. You need to connect it like the step 4 says:

The LEDs has 0402 size, the resistor is 0603
